Say thanks to a Los Angeles firefighter and hand over some cash to fight muscular dystrophy, without leaving your car.
Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters this week launched their annual “Fill the Boot” fundraiser, seeking donations from motorists at street intersections across Los Angeles to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
If you missed your chance, LAFD is still accepting donations at “Fill the Boot” locations in the San Fernando Valley and citywide, on Friday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to noon. In addition to the Woodland Hills site,, including Valley locations at Sepulveda Boulevard and Nordhoff Street in Sunland; 4360 Tujunga Avenue in Studio City; and Balboa Boulevard and Devonshire Street in Granada Hills.
