A motorcyclist in his 20s died after crashing into a curb in Palo Alto, California. The accident occurred late Friday night on Oregon Expressway.
Around 11:15 p.m., a police officer on patrol found the motorcyclist down in the roadway at Oregon Expressway and Alma Street, the Palo Alto Police Department said in a news release. Paramedics took the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, to an area hospital, where he died a short time later. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office will release the man’s identity after it is confirmed and his next of kin is notified.
An initial investigation indicated the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Oregon Expressway when he left the roadway and hit a curb, police said. No other vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash
