A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed after crashing Sunday afternoon in Manchester, officials said.
Roland Same, of Lakewood, was riding on Pasadena Road near the intersection of Mount Misery Road at around 3:40 p.m. when he lost control of the bike, was thrown from it and struck multiple trees,Witnesses and good Samaritans had already begun CPR on Same when police arrived. Same was brought to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.Manchester police also issued a reminder to motorists about the increased number of motorcyclists on area roads.
“With the warm weather upon us and the increase in motorcycles traffic on the roadways, both riders and motorists are reminded to be aware of the presence of motorcycles,” police said. “Please obey all traffic laws and arrive alive.”
