Mother-of-two barred from returning to UK with son after giving birth in Jamaica by LeahMahon_
HOME OFFICE officials have barred a British woman who gave birth in Jamaica from returning home to the UK to join her family with her baby because he now has an “established life” in the country. The-mother-two, who has indefinite leave to remain in the country, said she has been trying to leave the Caribbean island since her son, Xien Ellis, was born on 30 April last year.
On December 22nd, they threw out Tiffany’s application for her young son’s visa when he was already eight-months-old. They added that the refusal for a visa is “justified by the need to maintain an effective immigration and border control” and will not have “unjustifiably harsh consequences.” “My husband is my rock and he’s holding everything together. The whole situation is so heartbreaking.
Tiffany later found out she was pregnant in September 2020, but was plagued with debilitating vomiting as a result of her pregnancy.
