The cause of death: asphyxia due to drowning. The manner of death was ruled accidental.
Arguello was about to begin eighth grade at Deer Creek Middle School in Littleton, Vasquez wrote in a “Teaching was her passion; she loved her students and loved the work she did,” Vasquez wrote on the GoFundMe page. “Lisa was a kind-hearted person who always saw the positive in life.” Vasquez thanked the rescue crews for their prompt response. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office said the two bodies were found around 7:30 p.m. Friday.
