More than 90% of Democrats under age 30 want someone other than President Joe Biden to be the nominee in 2024. But he would likely defeat Trump, a poll says.
Just 13% of voters of all kinds say the United States is"on the right track," while 77% said it was"headed in the wrong direction."again in the next election if it were held today, according to the survey. Trump has strongly suggestedThe poll found that 44% of registered voters questioned said they would vote for Biden, compared with 41% who said they would back TrumpThe Times/Siena survey was conducted from Tuesday through Thursday, and questioned 849 voters.
The two polls also come less than four month's before the congressional midterm elections in early November. In the Times/Siena poll, the top problems that voters believe are facing the U.S. were the economy, which 20% of respondents identified as the most important problem, followed by"inflation and the cost of living," which 15% identified.
