Most Americans want more postal service funding to stop delays, a new poll finds
finds that nearly three-quarters of Americans believe the U.S. Postal Service should receive increased funding “to ensure Americans’ mail gets delivered in a timely fashion,” as funding for the agency becomes a political flashpoint in light of recent changes that have resulted in widespread mail delays and concerns about the November election.... [+]88% of Democrats and 60% of Republicans believe USPS funding should be increased to stop the mail delays.
78% of respondents, including 92% of Democrats and 67% of Republicans, also believed in the importance of a “well-functioning” postal service “to having a smooth and successful election during the coronavirus pandemic.”
