Fifty-five percent of the one thousand adults surveyed in a new Gallup poll said President-elect Donald Trump will 'keep the nation out of war.'

Only 38% of the participants of a November 2016 Gallup poll said Trump would "keep the nation out of war,” according to the company. The president-elect announced in September he would launch the largest deportation program in American history, a plan he has reinforced in the last couple of months. Trump’s first presidency involved efforts to combat illegal immigration, which included the separation of families at the U.S. southern border.
