We're tracking another round of monsoon storms across Arizona, including right here in the Valley. Watch out for gusty winds, blowing dust and low visibility, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, heavy downpours, and flooding with storms that move through today. The threat of flooding will be highest near the Grand Canyon. A Flood Watch remains in effect through 11 p.m. tonight for this part of our state including areas in Mohave County and Coconino County.
Heading into the weekend, a storm system moving through the Pacific Northwest will pull drier air into Arizona. That will clear out monsoon storm chances across most of our state as breezes pick up and temperatures drop.Phoenix will fall to around 105 degrees on Sunday, which is near normal for this time of year. Next week looks a bit hotter with Valley temperatures around 107 or 108 degrees each day.
