The Franklin County Public Health Department will be spraying Wednesday evening for mosquito prevention in parts of Dublin.
Rainy weather combined with the heat of summer's arrival makes for perfect breeding conditions for mosquitoes, which can carry West Nile virus and other diseases.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report 13 cases of West Nile virus have already been reported this year in the United States, though none so far in Ohio.
