Pitso Mosimane is on the verge of yet another incredible international milestone in his successful coaching career following his most-recent win with UAE side Al Wahda.
It was at the end of September 2020 that Mosimane shocked domestic football by resigning from the comforts of his job at Sundowns after delivering his fifth league title at the club.Mosimane had only recently signed a new contract with Sundowns at the time.
In Cairo, Mosimane lived up to the demands that come with being at the continent’s most successful club lifting the ultimate prize – the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup along with domestic silverware. The short stay came with promotion back to the Saudi Pro League and lifting the second-tier league title.
So far, so good with Al Wahda already through to the quarterfinals of the domestic league cup while they have recorded two wins in three games in the domestic league.
