Morrisons shoppers will find savings of up to 96% on Easter essentials
Morrisons has slashed the price of a range vegetables to just 4p ahead of the Easter weekend. Sunday roast essentials including carrots, parsnips and swede are included in the deal, with shoppers seeing savings of up to 96%.
Many other supermarkets are offering reduces prices on veg for Easter. However Morrisons recent price reductions make its Easter vegetable offer the cheapest the at half the price of Aldi and less than a third of the price of Tesco and Sainsbury's . The offer runs from today until Easter Sunday . However for shoppers looking to spend only pennies, Morrisons 4p offer doesn't have the same scope of vegetables as other supermarkets. Morrisons Best British White All Rounder Potatoes have dropped to £1, down from £2.30. However Aldi shoppers will find potatoes plus onions and garlic, for 8p. Tesco and Sainsbury's will also include potatoes in their 15p offers. Everything in the Morrisons Easter vegetable reductions: Carrots 1kg - 4p Parsnips 500g - 4p Whole swede - 4p In comparison, Aldi's 'super six' vegetable deal will see veg reduced to 8p. The offer will run from March 31 until April 5. Everything in Aldi's Super Six deal: White potatoes 2kg - 8p Carrots 1kg - 8p Garlic - 8p Brown onions 1kg - 8p Whole swede - 8p Parsnips 500g - 8p The deal means shoppers can now pick up all of their Easter veg for less than 50p. Aldi’s cheapest lamb will be also available in store from March 30.
