In 2021, the Maghreb countries all rebounded strongly after a year in which Covid was a major setback. Morocco has gone from -7.2% growth in 2020 to +7.9% in 2021, Algeria from -5.1% to +3.5%, and Tunisia from -8.8% to +4.4%.In particular, steel producers were able to benefit from record prices at the height of the Covid crisis, with the period between June 2020 and September 2021 witnessing a fourfold increase., is fourth in the ranking with a turnover ramp-up of nearly 75% year on year.
Meanwhile, Karim Bernoussi’s outsourcing group Intelcia continues to climb our yearly ranking, propelled by its investments throughout Africa and also in Europe.
