Gearing up for a night of viewing fireworks? Big Bay Boom, anyone? Here's Brian James' weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow.
Happy Sunday! The morning is starting off with coastal and inland clouds that will mix out throughout the late morning and early afternoon. Low pressure near the coast of Washington and onshore flow is creating the cooler conditions and cloudy skies.
While westerly winds will be fairly mild over the coastal and inland valley communities, they will pick up over the deserts and mountains with speeds from 15-25 miles per hour and wind gusts from 30-35 mph. Daytime highs will be below seasonal norms Sunday with the most noticeable dip in temperatures along the coast.
Looking ahead to Independence Day, not much will change with the temperatures and sky cover. Morning and evening clouds are on tap by tomorrow but they will mix out throughout the afternoon before making a return just in time for the Big Bay Boom firework display in the San Diego Bay.
