The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor confirms her separation from Mason McWhorter in her latest TikTok video.
On Saturday, February 7, 2025, Layla Taylor took to her TikTok to announce her split from Mason McWhorter. She said in an emotional tone, “Hi guys, I just wanted to hop on here to kind of, I feel like it’s kind of obvious.
” The 24-year-old continued, “I think everyone’s already noticed, and there’s pages already making videos about it, so I just wanted to hop on here to kind of set the record straight on something.” Taylor said she has already seen comments and speculations on social media. She doesn’t want anything bad spread about him, so she decided to clear things up. “Obviously, me and Mason are no longer together. It’s still super fresh,” the influencer revelead. However, she mentioned there is no “bad blood” between the two. Taylor further added, “I genuinely want and wish nothing but the best for Mason.” She also explained, “Things just weren’t working out. I think we were just on two different paths right now.” The reality TV star shared that McWhorter “felt in order for him to grow, he had to be on his own.” Taylor continued, “And I respect his decision, and I truly hope that he gets what he wants in life,” she said. Taylor added, “Mason was a really big part of me and my boys’ lives for the past almost year. We went through a lot in this last year, to be honest.” However, she shared, “I’m grateful for everything, and I’m grateful he was a part of my life for how long he was.” The influencer stated, “I just really thought that I was gonna get the family that I wanted so badly.” Additionally, Taylor pleaded to her fans to be “nice and kind” to her ex amid their breakup. “I still love him so much.
