He has described pre-season as the “most important” period of the year and felt he missed out by being appointed Trentside in the middle of the last campaign.

And he seems to relish having that responsibility. “I had a lot of time to work with Morgan . He was very young and has progressed,” Nuno said in the early days of his tenure. “Morgan is a different player. Credit to Steve Cooper to get him to this level.”
