More volunteers needed as Juneau flood clean-up continues

Heavy equipment provided by the Alaska Department of Transportation carries debris from a flooded house on Killewich Drive The City and Borough of Juneau is also partnering with United Way to deploy additional volunteer clean up crews. Their volunteer center at Melvin Park in the Mendenhall Valley opened up on Thursday. The volunteer center will be open Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
