Wright-Patterson Air Force Base officials reported additional sightings of unidentified objects, following previous reports of small unmanned aerial systems. The incidents did not disrupt base operations.

Unidentified objects were spotted over Wright-Patterson Air Force base, Air Force officials said Tuesday. Last week, the base said small unmanned aerial systems were spotted, which led to the military closing the air space above the base for a short period of time. On Tuesday, officials said more objects, ranging in size and configuration, were spotted over Area A and Area B during the late evening and early morning of December 16 and December 17th.

The incidents did not affect base residents, facilities, or assets, they said. 'Our units continue to monitor the airspace and are working with local law enforcement authorities and mission partners to ensure the safety of base personnel, facilities and assets.' ABC 6/FOX 28 discovered that sightings The Delaware County Sheriff's Office directed callers to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, which in turn referred inquiries to the Ohio Department of Homeland Security. However, a spokesman for the Ohio Department of Public Safety said OHS 'is not involved,' and referred us to the Wright-Patterson and the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations
