More than 800 residents receive livelihood assistance in QC

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte led the distribution of livelihood assistance to 805 residents at Risen Garden in Quezon City Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

“Ito ay tulong ng lokal na pamahalaan upang madagdagan ang puhunan ng mga QCitizens para sa kanilang pangkabuhayan. Hangad ng ating alkalde ang tagumpay ng inyong mga negosyo! Good luck po! ,” the city government.

The program was under the QC Small Income Generating Assistance , which is a capital assistance program provided for sari-sari store owners and other small business owners in the city granted by the QC Social Services Development Department . The city government said the program aims to help small business owners to re-establish their businesses amid the pandemic.Each approved applicant received P5,000.

Meanwhile, the city government said it continues to assist business owners in the city through other livelihood programs like Pangkabuhayan QC under the QC Small Business and Cooperative Development Promotions Office .
