Great Ormond Street employs more than 4,000 staff and deals with 268,000 patients each year
NHS staff have expressed frustration that they are being forced to self-isolate just as they are most needed, because tests are not available to show whether they are clear of the disease.NHS England has written to trusts asking them to lift restrictions on testing health workers for Covid-19.
The government has confirmed that only 2,000 NHS staff have so far been tested for the virus, despite there being 1.3 million full-time equivalent employees working for NHS England.
