More than 600 patients have recovered from COVID19 in Quezon City, local gov't says

MANILA -- The number of patients who have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 in Quezon City has reached 614 after the city government on Thursday reported 18 new recoveries.Of the total number, 1,789 have addresses in the city while 1,565 were validated by the QC Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit and District Health Offices, the local government said.The local government said the number of active COVID-19 cases in the city has reached 785.

As of Thursday, the local government is updating the list of barangays under extreme enhanced community quarantine. Last Saturday, Metro Manila, Laguna, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Zambales and Angeles City shifted to a modified lockdown, wherein the government sought to restart an economy ravaged by the pandemic.
