About 60 out of 536 employees at the DOJ tested positive for the new coronavirus disease after conducting its two-day rapid testing, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said. | CMarquezINQ

“At the end of two days of rapid testing, 68 out of 468 DOJ employees at the main office tested positive,” Guevarra told reporters.Guevarra also noted that four “outsourced personnel” from security and maintenance also tested positive for the novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, during the rapid testing.

The infected employees at the Justice department will undergo swab testing at government and private hospitals. Results of their swab tests are still pending, Guevarra said.
