NEW: More than 350 flights into or out of Denver International Airport have been canceled due to a winter storm that brought record-low temps of -24 degrees. cowx
Southwest Airlines took the brunt of the cancellations, with 249 of their flights, or 46%, canceled. An additional 78 of their flights are delayed.
Among other airlines, 50 SkyWest flights, 36 United flights, 14 Frontier flights, 4 American Airlines flights and one flight each from Air Canada, CommutAir and Alaska Airlines have been canceled. Phoenix, Dallas and Chicago had the most arriving flights canceled with seven each, and seven flights each were canceled to Phoenix, Chicago and St. Louis.
