A mysterious rash of hepatitis infections among children widened to more than 100 known cases and five deaths in 25 U.S. states and territories, the CDC says
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday that it had received reports of 100 additional cases of children with symptoms similar to those of nine children
with acute hepatitis in Alabama. The CDC said cases have been detected since October in 25 states and territories including New York, California, Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico.
