In all, 22.7% of Democrats either disapproved or strongly disapproved of President Biden’s job performance
, while 70.2% of party voters offered approval or strong approval. A further 7.1% said they had no opinion.
The support among party faithful echoed his performance more broadly. The poll also showed Biden underwater nationally with 55.7% of voters either disapproving or strongly disapproving of the president’s time in office so far. Only 39.1% said they approved of Biden’s performance. In response to the question of “In general, for whom do you plan to vote in the upcoming 2022 congressional election?” — 48.2% of respondents said the Republican candidate, while just 42.9% said the Democrat candidate. A further 8.9% were undecided.
The poll surveyed 1,079 likely general election voters between Monday and Wednesday, and had a margin of error of 2.9%
