The National Weather Service predicts more snow for Northeast Ohio despite the region having already received a significant amount of snowfall over the past three and a half days. Light snow showers are anticipated Sunday night into Monday, with heavier lake effect snow expected to arrive Tuesday and persist through the end of the week.

The past few days have been more deeper in the snow belt and the secondary snow belt,” Griffin said. “So primary is all of, or most of Northeast Ohio. So, Lake, Ashtabula, Geauga and Eastern Cuyahoga . Now secondary is around that, so the western half of Cuyahoga, Eastern Lorain, Medina, Summit, Portage .”
