Crazy footage of the recent storm surges keeps rolling in, and the latest viral video could easily have you thinking that it was taken onboard a cruise ship in heavy seas.
The video was taken from inside the Beacon Isle Hotel in Plettenberg Bay, and despite the excited laughter and shouts, it’s a little unnerving to see the ocean lurching at you while you sit mere metres away from the chaos. The footage was posted to Instagram by user Gabriele Carrara, whom we assume had a front-row seat to the storm surge. The people seem very chill though, as one of the commenters noted: People have no sense of danger.
