There was more refereeing drama in the DStv Premiership after Polokwane City and AmaZulu played to a goalless draw on Monday afternoon.
Usuthu new signing Tariq Fielies was thrown straight into the starting line-up, while Sede Dion kept his spot on the bench despite netting a brace in their last win over Cape Town City.
The opening exchanges proved to be cagey affair as neither side took the game by the scruff of the neck, with both goalkeepers barely having anything to do in the opening 20 minutes. The Usuthu players appealed to the referee and his assistant, but their appeals were waved away, much to the disappointment of coach Pablo Franco Martin and his bench.
