More Perak landowners expected to opt for online quit rent payment, says MB

IPOH: More quit rent payers in Perak are expected to opt for online payment by 2024, says Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

The Perak Mentri Besar said land owners can check their rent and status at the Perak Land and Mining office’s website.“Landowners can register themselves on the website where they can also check their history payments and matters related to their property,” he said at a press conference after the state-level National Land Day celebration at Casuarina@Meru here on Monday .

“While we understand that there might be those who don’t have Internet access or are not familiar with the online system, it is important for us to move forward. “We want to provide an easier user experience for the public. By going online, they don’t have to go to PTG and line up just to make transactions.
