Caroline Flack's death sparks huge criticism of the British tabloid press, which intensely scrutinised the TV presenter's personal life and her upcoming trial over the alleged assault of her boyfriend.
Mr Shalit is not alone in pointing the finger at the press. It refused to drop charges and as part of the bail restriction, Flack was prevented from having any contact with Burton — a condition he also objected to."The CPS should look at themselves today and how they pursued a show trial that was not only without merit but not in the public interest," said Francis Ridley of Money Talent Management.
Her recent post, however, followed calls from other Love Island contestants for more support of stars after they leave the show.
