Conditions have become more favorable for a quick ramp-up in intensity ahead of landfall, and we can expect a category one or two storm at landfall. Landfall will occur Sunday night into early Monday morning somewhere between Rockport and Freeport, Texas. Heavy rain, hurricane-force winds, and storm surge will all be possible impacts. Locally, we will see no direct impacts from Beryl.

Stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade if you are spending time outside.Little change is expected in the forecast over the next few days. We will see a boost in rain chances on Tuesday, before they drop back to lower chances for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the low to mid-90s each day, and humidity will be high.
