The commission approved a $149,167,050 budget that it says is focused on economic development, public safety and infrastructure investments.
“This budget reflects our commitment to securing Montgomery County’s future through smart investments in safety, infrastructure and community services,” Montgomery County Commission Chairman Doug Singleton said. “By focusing on these areas, we are building a stronger, more resilient county while maintaining fiscal responsibility.”
The budget allocates more than $1.6 million to the Construction Programs Fund for various improvements to essential county facilities, including $85,000 for park improvements and $440,000 for fuel equipment upgrades, supporting the county’s efforts to maintain high operational standards.
