BREAKING: Police have identified the Monterey Park suspect, who is dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The suspect in a shooting in Monterey Park, California, that left 10 dead and another 10 wounded has died, Los Angeles Sheriff Robert Luna said Sunday. The suspect, identified as 72-year-old Huu Can Tran, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Luna said.
Luna said a magazine-fed semi automatic assault pistol with extended large capacity magazine was recovered from the Alhambra location.
