The story is told through an unconventional lens: a CGI primate representing Williams. Entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo caught up with the cast of ' Better Man ' to delve into this unique concept. Gracey revealed that Williams was immediately on board with the idea.
When asked what animal he'd be if he were one, Williams surprisingly didn't choose the lion, opting instead for a monkey. Gracey explained that this choice reflects how Williams sees himself as opposed to how the public perceives him. The director believes the portrayal through a monkey adds a layer of humanity that wouldn't be present otherwise, defying the potential perception of it as a mere gimmick.
