Money woes prevent Malaysians from having more kids

FINANCIAL issues are a major obstacle preventing couples from having their desired number of children, said the National Population and Family Development Board director-general. Abdul Shukur Abdullah said on average, Malaysian parents want four kids, but the high cost of providing for a child means couples usually have only two or three.
