JOHANNESBURG - Reports about a 'suicide game' which encourages children to partake in dangerous tasks that often lead to them harming themselves are allegedly false. The 'Momo challenge' reportedly popped up in content on YouTube, including an episode of Peppa Pig and would instruct children to participate in tasks that would eventually lead to them killing themselves.is now reporting that there is no evidence that the challenge caused harm to any of the children who died allegedly after taking part in the challenge.YouTube has reportedly not found any evidence of the challenge being inserted in any of the videos uploaded on the platform.
Although the story about the challenge seems like 'fake news' parents are being encouraged to monitor what their children are doing online in order to pick up instances of cyber-bullying.
