He's spoken about the life-changing experience
An avid motorcyclist has described the dramatic accident that made him fear for his life. Neil Bell has told of life-changing experience when he suffered a broken collarbone, broken hand and broken ribs along with chest, lung and head injuries 12 years ago.
Due to the severity of his injuries the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance were called. Mr Bell was largely unconscious and says that he cannot really remember the accident, but that he was aware help was on its way. He added: “I kept calling my wife at work to ask for my shaver, I had simply forgotten that I had already called a while earlier with the same request. Another time, I accused my family of eating a box of chocolates, forgetting that I’d already shared them with them."
He could not contemplate the thought of not being able to ride again and she finally agreed to him getting another bike so he could enjoy his passion. Twelve years since the accident, Neil still enjoys riding.
