This is the moment police chase a knifeman suspected of carrying out a 'terrifying sword attack' as he charges through gardens in east London .
The terrifying scenes were recorded by a member of the public, who can be heard desperately warning people to 'lock your doors' while officers scramble to subdue the man and prevent him injuring anyone else.
