Georgia firefighters Chandler Kuhbander and Raegan Anderson were found dead Sunday following a week-long search.

The two firefighters, who were also previously involved in a long term romantic relationship, had been missing since June 24. Their bodies were found together inside Anderson’s black 2017 Ford Focus, police Kuhbander was last seen leaving a gym and getting into Anderson’s car on Monday, June 24, his mother told WJCL. Kuhbander’s mother told the outlet she last spoke to her son that Monday morning when he told her Anderson had been continuously calling him and threatening herself.
"The bodies have been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death and to be positively identified," a spokesperson with the bureau told PEOPLE.
