Kristhie I. Alcazar, 26, of Penns Grove, told police she killed her child to “fulfill the last of her sins, murder,” according to court documents.
The mother walked upstairs in the apartment and began screaming when she discovered the dead child in a bedroom. Officers raced upstairs and found the girl with multiple stab wounds to the chest. She expressed no remorse for the killing and stated “she would not change any of the events surrounding the murder,” a detective wrote in the criminal complaint.
