Rulani Mokwena delivered two trophies in his first full season in charge at Mamelodi Sundowns and has another three ahead.If what Rulani Mokwena has had to deal with in his first full season as the main man in charge of the dressing room, then he will roll up his sleeves more than he has ever done.
He won the DStv Premiership and African Football League then lost in the finals of the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup, went out in the first round of the Carling KnockOut Cup and then came stuck in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League. The aim will be to play in all seven competitions every season giving the 37-year-old a range of 21 trophies to take aim at through the three seasons that remain on his contract.Mokwena’s four-year deal – signed in July last year – runs until end of June 2027 and he has promised to deliver the Champions League during that time.
