eNCA / Muntu VilakaziThe ANC Women's League's Nomvula Mokonyane has condemned a burglary at ANC Deputy Secretary-General Jessie Duarte's home."The harassment of comrade Jessie has to be something that is condemned. To me, she is my Deputy Secretary-General but she is also a sister, somebody I am holding her hand tight to grow in the movement, to learn in the movement," she said.
"It is unfortunate what is happening and again, it is something that is, from where I am seated, it is something that can only be done by men who are dealing with their own insecurities and men who are threatened by the capability of this woman."was speaking at the Newclare Cemetery in Johannesburg at a commemoration of the women who marched to Pretoria against the pass laws in 1956.
