Veteran international campaigners Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh and Heather White left for Netanya, Israel on Thursday night to compete in the prestigious 9th World Aquatics Junior Championships scheduled on September 4 to 9.

Joining Mojdeh and White in the lean but mean national junior swimming team are fellow tankers Marco Daos, Gian Santos and Alexander Eichler.'I am thrilled to be representing our country for the 2nd time in the World Aquatics Junior Championships. There is a bit sadness that this will be my last but I am also blessed to be part of two edition of Junior World Championships over the course of my junior years,' said Mojdeh, a student of Brent International School in Laguna.

A big boost will come from Coach Abi Liu which happens to be our Head coach in Bellevue and she will also be part of the USA Team coaching staff,' narrated Mojdeh.In World Championships, Mojdeh will be seeing action in the women's 400m Individual Medley, 200m butterfly, 100m breaststroke, 200m IM, 100m butterfly and 200m breaststroke.On the other hand, White takes part in the women's 100m butterfly, 100m freesryle, 50m freestyle and 200m freestyle.
