One player you probably wouldn't have expected to score the goal to get them there is Caicedo, who had yet to find the back of the net in a Chelsea shirt before Sunday.The move started when Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto raced outside his area to prevent a Chelsea attack, but his first touch then put him under pressure and he needed to slide to stop Conor Gallagher from making the interception.
His effort went straight over the head of Neto and Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi before landing in the back of the net - with the goal surely worthy of a Puskas award nomination.Tottenham's opening goal at Sheffield United means Chelsea are on course to finish in sixth position - but will still secure Europa League football at the time of writing.
