Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has impressed during pre-season and he continued that into their victory over Manchester United in the United States
Mohamed Salah starred for Liverpool during their 3-0 win over Manchester United in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 32-year-old looked sharp for his third pre-season outing of the summer and grabbed an assist, setting up Curtis Jones to slot home as the Reds secured their third victory on the bounce. It has been a positive pre-season for Liverpool thus far, and now Arne Slot's side return home from the United States with victories over Real Betis, Arsenal and United.
As he walked across the front of the dugout, he appeared to flick the hair of a member of the Liverpool backroom team before shaking hands with some of the players on the bench. The Egyptian managed to net 25 goals in 44 matches across all competitions last season, though that was somehow his worst total for four years. After the win over United, Liverpool boss Slot said: 'Yes, I was – but not with all of them. We are very happy with the result, we scored some really nice goals.
