Mohamed Salah 's Liverpool future is still up in the air. The 32-year-old, who has scored nine goals and added seven assists in 15 matches across all competitions this season, is out of contract next summer and has been linked with a move away from the Reds. He is one of three key players that could exit Anfield for free in 2025, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk the other two stars whose contracts expire at the end of this season.
'Top of the table is where this club belongs,' Salah wrote on Instagram. 'Nothing less. All teams win matches but there's only 1 champion in the end. That's what we want. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like.' Speaking in his pre-Bayer Leverkusen press conference, Arne Slot responded to Salah's Instagram post and offered an update on his Liverpool future.
