MOH moving to repair country’s healthcare system
Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa says her ministry will work with other agencies for the benefit of healthcare workers and civil society as a whole. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, February 1, 2023.
Dr Zaliha in a Twitter thread said a targeted approach is in the works, involving issues such as the welfare, physical and mental well-being of healthcare workers, determination of fair salary, and job security. She said regular meetings with all stakeholders will continue to be held to obtain feedback, especially from staff in the field.
Dr Zaliha expressed her commitment to working hand in hand with other agencies for the good and benefit of healthcare workers and civil society as a whole.
