Tristen Durocher, who spearheaded that protest, was on a hunger strike against high suicide rates in the province. “We do have sympathy for the reasoning as to why some people might be participating in convoys that are happening across Canada,” Moe said Monday on CBC The Morning Edition. “There are some very divisive mandates that remain in place in this nation. We are taking steps in Saskatchewan to find our way through those mandates.”
