The composer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II has walked away from the project before its official soundtrack is released, saying it isn't her 'artistic intent' and that she can no longer work with the game's audio director.

took to Twitter to address players, many of whom she claims have been asking her when the game’s soundtrack will be ready to download and stream.

Schachner went on to state that she doesn’t approve of the game’s yet-to-be-released soundtrack, claiming it doesn’t meet the standards she wanted it to. “Mike Dean was a part of the creative vision for the album as well as mixer Frank Wolf. We have soundtrack masters in hand from Mike which unfortunately you will never get to hear.
