Mobile County Sheriff's Office Seeks Suspect in Fatal Assault

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office is searching for Greggory Jowers, who is wanted for the murder of John Fabian. The incident occurred on December 25, 2025, at a residence on McLeod Road in Theodore, Alabama. Fabian was found unresponsive with significant bruising and later died from his injuries. Jowers is also wanted for first-degree robbery and faces additional warrants.

During the investigation, witnesses stated that Jowers assaulted Fabian on December 25, causing him to become unconscious. Fabian was taken to a local hospital where he was placed on life support. On the next day, December 26, Fabian was taken off Life support and passed away. MCSO deputies found John Thomas Fabian, unresponsive inside the residence with significant bruises to his face and neck.

Fabian was taken to a local hospital and put on life support. On December 26, 2025, Fabian passed away due to his injuries. During the investigation, MCSO Detectives discovered that GREGGORY JOWERS lived with Fabian located at 9571 McLeod Road. After interviewing several witnesses MCSO has signed warrants for GREGGORY JOWERS for the Murder of John Thomas Fabian as well as Robbery 1st. JOWERS currently hasseveral additional warrants;
